I thought I saw something in a FAQ somewhere (crutchfield I thought but I can't find it now) that said you could patch holes and tears in surrounds with something, either CA or epoxy...don't quote me though.

That sucks though, man. That's been my worst nightmare every time i've installed speakers.

thats why i always use a normal screw driver never a drill or my favorite a caphead screw with a allen wrench.

I've seen a few topics on here talking about it. Can't you use CA glue from the backside of the surround or something like that? Search it up.

one time i took duct tape and put silicone on the sticky side in the middle and put in on from the underside and it was almost like new!!!!
