It's very hard to beat FI for the price. That's how I see it. But if RE was same price as FI I would most likely run RE.

I believe that Resonant Engineering Audio is more of a Sound Quality Company, where as FI Car Audio is more into SPL. Both companys design and build great products. My personal favorite tho has allways been Resonant Engineering. I used to own a 15" Resonant Engineering SE Series and I loved it. It produced the most cleanest bass i have ever heard. I sold it to my buddy for 100 bucks because the magnet rattled off the cage from poundin.

I gave you my reasons for not likeing it and its still "my opinion" i'd totally tell you the other people who have had much of the same results i hate but youll just say the same thing, "I have a personal vendetta against Fi" That and i rather not drag everyone elses names in the dirt in this debate over 2 companies being the same. I care less that scott designed every single RE sub and now does Fi's that still doesnt make them the same thing.

well your people have had the same results as you "bad" and my people have had the same results as me, "good" so who is really right here LOL.

when i say "same" i mean generally since the designer, the build quality and the sound that emits from the subs is about the same to me. Im not sure about the new "crazy" XXX sub since i havent messed with one but ive heard both good and bad about it. When i heard the "bad" about it you know the first thing that came to mind was "wrong enclosure" or something else but not the sub itself. The sub is only a little part of the SQ of the system and even the bass itself really. The bass from your sub is ONLY as good as the box and the way its aimed and the car its in. I guess me and everyone else i know that likes them is just lucky. Maybe our opinion of SQ is different then yours.

I can't help you out with FI Car Audio mainly because I have not worked with their products yet. But in the future I thought about purchasing an 18" SSD. It looks like a beautiful subwoofer and the price is just unbeatable

buy you some RE by all means!! If it works for you bump that shit and be happy. If you buy a Treo sub and its the loudest, cleanest youever heard, run that shit!!

i didnt delete anything....is something gone? (if your talking about the post i quoted, i certainly didnt delete it or it wouldnt be in my quote either ) I noticed it wasnt there anymore though
