I got a text from Aaron T today looking for a cheap cd player because his lady friends car got broke into and the radio was took. I told him I got a Pioneer DEH-P3600 I could sell him for $30 with the dash kit, and wire harness if they are both correct for her car (which they maybe because it s a gm and the radio came out of a gm). Otherwise I told him $25ish if they wont fit and he wants only the radio I came with these prices after looking online at ebay and pioneers site. The radios suggusted retail was $190 when it came out in 2004!!(which means its probolly around 150-175 to goto a authorized shop and buy it or for instance crutchfield. Theres nothing special about the radio. 2 sets of 2v pre outs, EEQ, Mosfet 50x4, multicolor lcd, flipdown detachable face, am/fm/cd, 2 way crossover. It dont even play MP3s. And I find this ebay powerseller selling one. So this guy wants $65 plus $15 shipping for this radio! Go figure its the said faceplate for the above radio from the same user. and he wants $58.98 plus $9.95 for shipping on the faceplate!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/Pioneer-DEH-P3600-Face...p3286.m20.l1116 So he wants $148+ for this few year old basic pioneer radio that is completely useless for the most past unless you spend another $20+ on buying the wiring harness, and the mounting sleeve so the thing dont slide out your dash... But then you still dont have the trim ring to make it look pretty or even the damn remote.... Why in the hell even waste your time listing such a bogus auction that costs you money when you know for a damn fact that its not going to sell espically since theres other complete radios selling for 1/4th his buy it now prices... I sent the guy a question about his item, asking why. Im waiting for his response.... Tho he maybe a "powerseller" I see him as a scammer because of how stupid his auctions are with outragious pricing, and shipping. I mean, I can ship a 30 pound 3000 watt amp halfway across the US that is way bigger and heavier then the damn radio for $18 bucks... I see it as a scammer just because some uneducated person may buy it for some odd reason when you can go out and get brand new and better for less. Im sure if you bought it from that guy, and you buddy comes around and says cool, I just got the same one for 30 bucks, you wont feel scammed? It was from a cd player stolen from my wife so I didn't have the h/u, but the whole thing was bought at Walmart for around $120. I just did an auction and let it go, faceplates in good condition can make a lot of money! I sold a really nice Alpine EQ and only got $35. It's backwards imo. But anyways, I sold the above unit today for $20, and drove across town to hand deilever it, and he got way more then what is being sold in those auctions, and then ended up giving a demo to his 3 friends and I learned I can do a hair trick in the back seat with all my windows and doors closed!
