That makes no sense at all. Is there anyway that you can take a video of it happening and testing the wire so that us visual learners can see what's going on?

It makes perfect sense (my amp just did the same, except outputs were also cooked). The remote circuit gets shorted somehow, whether something internal shorts across or the remote lead touches a constant 12 volt source, and it stays on.

Finally got it

def right man...but what size wire you usin? looks like 4 gauge from the vid...def upgrade to 0/1 for that amp man

That was 4 gauge that I disconnected from my mids amp. The 0/1 is all wrapped up and I didn't need all that wire just to demonstrate a point. Thanks for noticing though.

lol... thats crazy stuff... man... i had a blown bxi606 sitting in my room for a month or so and i was moving it one day and the face lit up... it was freaky!... no wires attached and it still flickerd on on two seperate occasions.... cia engineering will fix it up for you im sure... if they cant maxxsonics will replace it for you.... atleast they did with my bxi606...
