damn it you cant fit two wires into one terminal with 8 gauge if i crimped the 8 gauge to a y splitter would that potentially cause any harm?

12awg is more than suffiecint for speaker wire for that amount of wattage. 8AWG is overkill for that setup. just use wires that will fit, no need for 8awg.

lol yeah mines not gonna look anywhere neat as that now i gotta figure out how to splice and make a Y with 8 gauge wire doesnt work like normal speaker wire where you twist all three together and put a cap on it lmfao

if i didnt read your post a little better, i wouldve thought those pics were from Rockford Wizard Wiring Diagram.

haha nope then they would have the RF logo in the subs not the FI on the diagram lol

That is a RF wiring diagram. Somebody painted the FI logo onto the dustcaps in the drawing. That might be why your speaker terminals didn't line up correctly with the directions of the logos on the subs.

well another quick question, i cant fit two 8 gauge wires into the first sub like i did in previous pictures so if i splice 3 wires and twist them together wrap in electrical tape would that cause any potential harm?

yeah strip the ends of three wires and twist them together from like + of amp to + of sub 1 to + of sub 2 and same for negative

im just wondering if electrical tape will burn up or something like that

btw this is what i mean i cant fit two 8 gauge in the first sub terminals like this picture

so i want to splice and twist these 3 wires together that are boxed in the image below

just buy some 12awg wire and be done with it, fuck the 8awg you absolutely dont need it. Your install is going to be stealth anyways nobody is gonena see it.

The electrical tape will melt and start semlling, happend to me a while back.
