depends on how you wire the subs to the amps.

you'll want 2ohms strapped though, 1ohm per amp.

will have 2 subs dual 4's dropped to 1 ohm together,

don't most amps when straped go to 2ohm ??

Depends what load they're connected to. You strap 2 amps to a 8 ohm load and they'll see 4 ohms each...

When strapping you HALVE the load. Each amp gets half the ohm load. So if you wire your subs to 1 ohm then strap your amps, they'll see 0.5 ohms each and probably won't be very happy.

So in this instance how would I strap dual 4's two of them?

I have 4 d4 subs, when I strapped my amps I had to wire each pair of subs to 2 ohms, so each sub saw 1 ohm (I think) but before I did that I had them strapped @ .5 ohms & the amps were goig into protect after 1 hit. Testerday I unstrapped my amps & they made sooooooo much more power. not sure why. I thought strapping was to make more power.
