Godsmack Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 Less voltage drop to the amp.........think of it this way.........trying to force 6 al per second through a 3/4in pipe or a 1 1/2 in pipe........water flows easier through bigger pipe just like current flows easier through bigger wire. Derrick824 Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 If your amp doesn't require larger wire then you won't notice any difference. There are wiring charts all over the net showing the size wire needed for the size amplifier being used. Check one out before you possibly waste some money.
