Cdizzle
I was just wondering if there is a noticeable difference when running 1 gauge wire compared to 4 gauge wire.. I have a Soundstorm F2800 amplifier... Damn Thiefs
Godsmack
Less voltage drop to the amp.........think of it this way.........trying to force 6 al per second through a 3/4in pipe or a 1 1/2 in pipe........water flows easier through bigger pipe just like current flows easier through bigger wire. Derrick824
If your amp doesn't require larger wire then you won't notice any difference. There are wiring charts all over the net showing the size wire needed for the size amplifier being used. Check one out before you possibly waste some money. Slinky
Its better to overkill on wire than not have big enough wire.
