you have dimensions of what will fit use a box calculator i've seen the guys using on here ask around here on the site for the one they are using. you wan't to fire the box forward seal the edges of the box off from the trunk subs passenger side of box port on the drivers side as far as port tune the box calculator should help build the box with the spl port then design poert that will work for music

you'll need a comp box, and daily box...if your cars frequency is in mid 50's and your box is tuned into the 30's, there's your problem.

My box is tuned to 34 htz. And at one of the comps I went to I did a sweep from 10htz to 100htz and they said the optimal frequency was 51htz. Thats where my system maxed out at, and the DB's started dropping off.

now you know where you peak, now build accordingly.

When you start low, like 30hz and do a sweep up, you heat coils and loose voltage. So imagine hitting it at the tuned frequency :D

That why on my second run I purped 49, 50, 51, 52, 53 htz

so what should i tune my box to for comps

Again read the posts, Make a sealed box, meter it outside the car record data, put in the car and meter again record and compare data, where ever you have the highest rise is your res freq... Then start the tune on your ported box 10-12hz below and keep cutting untill you max out...
