I like Vista. Never had an issue specifically with it. Got it on one of my desktops and my laptop. The desktop lags sometimes but usually only cause I'm doing some serious multi-tasking. Vista on my laptop has never EVER given me an issue and is pretty damn fast. Sounds like some of ya'll are falsely blaming Vista for a slow computer. When the time comes for a new computer I'll likely get it with windows 7 & try it out.

I don't think anyone is falsely blaming Vista per-say but what one may think is slow, the other may think is normal or fast. You see waht im saying? I can tell the responsivness (sp) difference between XP64/Vista/Win7 On my pc I sold a few months back (C2Q @ 3.87GHz, 8GB ram @ DDR1173, GTX295's, etc.....) Win7 had the "smoother response" and vista had a noticable stutter and rediculous times, and Win XP64 was....well XP, smooth!

I love my staffie :good:

So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

your pc is blazing fast with vista? im going to call bs on that.

windows 7 is a sweet new OS. its faster than XP was and uses LESS memory. can you say win?

Well, it might not be blazing fast, but its smoldering, I bought the best that I could afford at the time, it has almost enough memory I could use another gig, I only have 2, and the processor was the second best that I could choose from, and I have stripped most of the file and program logging out to help speed it up, plus I have had almost no issues with it at all, nothing that bad surfing habits did not create..I have also had 0, zip, zilch driver problems!

The only problem I had with Vista was slow startup and I never could backup certain files (music, regardless of what format). I was able to get some of my music backed up while ago, but the backup drive crashed ( :censored: )

I really like the look of Vista. It's by far one of the best graphical interfaces I've seen (IMO, of course). Of course, I've only ever owned Win 98 (laugh if you want) and Vista. My parents had XP, but I almost never used it, so I can't compare to it.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card
