System on a budget

Recommended Posts

Im wanting to get a new system in a '01 tundra but i really dont have any ideas. I can remove back seats if needed, it has a extended cab.

I want something loud but something 1 grand or lower. More than 2500 watts if I can. Or if they wont get me there what will? Anyone has suggestions?

I need box ideas too, I want to be able to use at least SOME of my rear view window/mirror.

thanks!

What subs and amps?

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

with that 1 grand good luck at getting 2500 watts.but on a budget set up you could do 2 15s if you do get rid of the seat.do you want just straight POUNDING MUSIC?

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

I'm in the same boat, trying to get a better bass set-up while staying right at a grand or less. I don't want to topic jack but I'm interested in what you guys have to say for just "pounding music". I'm looking for something with mad bass when I want it.

stop making sense you'll kill the argument.

Earth, you feel me?

You aren't loud enough to be felt.

I think it's going to be very hard if even possible to do that, especially since an amp that will do 2500rms is already close to your price range.

Edit: I think Hifonics has some good products (some people might not agree) and they are fairly cheap.

the 2610D is 378 shipped and can do 2600, I don't care how many people wanna argue that they can't, it's been covered a hundred times. You will need 14.4 volts constant.

word. right around 400 then you could get some AQ or DC.... or Boss.... lol

Well this could be your amp right here and someone on here has 2 Rockford Fosgate T2 15's in the for sale section for $315 plus shipping each I believe.

There is no way he is gonna maintain 14.4 with 2600 rms with stock electrical, he would need at least a 200 amp alt and one good battery, or the stock alt with like 3 batterys to maintain that power, I would personally go with the upgraded amp and a good battery under the hood.
