Big P
Lets see some pics of your air ride heres some of mine most every ones seen it but oh well some of you know I took my truck to a "shop" and they took my truck down to bare frame in the back and let it sit for 2 years. I had to tow it out of there yard and do it my self with some help of friends. I also live near the beach so please excuse the rust. made a home made c notch with the box as part of the notch started with flux core but later on we got a new welder heres a bead my hommie laid with flux core he defently knows his shit the cross member that holds the 4 link was made out of thick ass 2x4 square stock. The 45 degree angles give it tons more strength the bottom 4 link tabs were tosed and home made one were made out of the same 2x4 sqaur stock. Notched the back and raised it to add more strength this is the gusset for the cross member its accualy U shaped with the cross member sitting on the troff of the U. this adds more surface area to be welded and more area in contact with frame put the bags on the cab side of the 4 link yes i gutted the 4 link bars air tank and compressor mount out back and out of the way some messyniss the trucks going back down next month and im going to por 15 the frame clean every thing up a bit.
