At least I am at home with this hobby. There isn't anyone around where I am that I hang with audio wise. SMD is the only place I have for friends.

The wife is fine with it as long as it doesn't go overboard. Our deal was it is a hobby and all other $$ things come first- and she keeps me in check on that. She actually talked me into a wall on the last build when I tried to waffle out of doing a wall. "You won't be happy until you wall it..." She said- and she was RIGHT (like always, huh? lol). She likes it though. She incites me to crank it when someone pulls up beside us thinking they are loud. But as far as driving around loud- I have to keep it at moderate levels. She will begin the wincing, ear plugging and tap out routine.

But short answer... yeah, she supports my Audio Hobby. She would rather it be this than something that keeps me out.

Oh- that is about the way my friends are too. They don't get it until I play it for them... but even then, they are like "Wow! I don't have words... that is crazy! WHY??"

Wife dont mind it at all. She goes to comps with me, helps pay for the shit and supports the time its gonna take. Her whole mindset is that as long as I dont fuck the truck up, or wall it we are good. If I can find a cheap good condition beater she is down with the wall............which makes me happy as fuck.

the new gf loves the car, loves loud music, loves to show off, and actually works on it with me. that led to her gettin 1600 watts and 2 L5s in her camaro. shes one of if not the loudest setups in her school, not sayin much for her school, she talks crap to all the guys she knows because she knows more about car audio.. she got a stupid retarded and good lookin neighbor that has a 15" eclipse titanium, but its in a horrible ported box, my gfs is seal and it kicks the crap outta the neighbors.

my parents like that i have somethin to do with my spare time. almost got a system in my moms car. and they will always come out to here my system once i upgrade, then say.. you gotta stop shakin the house.

well the ol lady likes it as long as its rock, but tuned @ 34hz its hard to get heavy metal like ffdp to hit so when i min the car its mostly rap which she hates. but ohwell she thinks its a worthless hobby just like the rest fo my family. she complains about it hurting her ears and her chest and blah blah blah. but ohwell it keeps me home and happy so she deals with it lol

My wife loves it, but claims it's a "high school" thing. She's cool with it as long as it don't take away from the kids and the bills. It also helps when I spend money on my hobbies, I give her a little money to keep her quiet.

Now that I'm 30, my parents have always said "do what makes you happy". So....I do!
