I'm a damn n00b, and I fail http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif ..LOL. The reason why I have this in this section is cause I really dont like taking pictures, and I dont think I'll be snapping photos of the rest of the install, as at that point, the camera will just be getting in my way. I will take a picture/ and or vid of the finished product of course, so that is why I just kept this in the sub/enclosure section. And, well...............Since mods/admins cant do SOTM, My picture taking ability was really let down LOL!

what do you all use to do the finish work on the wood? Im using a product called plastic wood (or something like that) it works well when cut with acetone, but is there anything that doesnt require "Mixing" like something I can just squeeze out and just spread? There is just so many screw holes that I must patch, and my shit will take forever. Thanks

They have stuff that's just called "wood filler" on the label. can't say i have much experience with it though.

OK, todays project was remove the middle seats (I have no rear seats) and place the box in the truck, and test fit things. Brian was here to help (he did most of the work LOL!) and he/we started on a false floor, and a little batt rack, all of which came out very nicely. All these items will be finished the same way as the box (Spray on bedliner) and should look very clean when all is done. I have plenty of pictures, so here we go:

Seats getting ready to be removed, all my old stuff was DE-Wired, and removed

More just removing wires and strighting stuff up

Slide the batts to the rear, and tossed some misc wires back there

Holy hell!! Seats out, and THERE IS A LOT OF ROOM......DAMN ITS CLEAN!

Top of the false floor slash batt rack. The batts are placed nicely for a BUSS BAR setup, and all wires will have VERY short runs.
