P2s blew em out the water and sounded way better. i just dont like how the Type R;s hit. they sound Flimsy. idk. shoulda went with sum p2s tho for prolly the same price or cheaper. Unless you heard the Type R and the P2 in the same vehicle with the same setup its hard to compare. Im sure this 15" will pound the shit out of my little car. I have heard type-R's compared to many other subs in the same car (mine) and I can tell you they soudn like crap unless you get just the right box, so hopefully you'll do some research - I'm sure a 15 would sound amazing with some percision ports, you should look into that precision ports or any ports will sound just as good as slotted. vice versa.
