tristan560
Wondering if there was a way to see what my wall is tuned to. I dont know the exact volume due to the fact most of it was fiberglassed and the shape was hard to calculate. So i just wanna double check. Any way i can do this? 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
Sanitarium
packing peanuts and cardboard (cardboard to keep the packing peanuts in)
Maxim
To expand more on what sanitarium said, buy lots of foam packing peanuts and some cardboard. cut out 5 cardboard squares a foot by a foot. Tape them together to make a cube (without a lid). It'll be one cubic foot. Now fill your wall with foam packing peanuts one cubic foot at a time. Keep track of how many you put in. You might have to estimate the last cubic foot, as it might not be exact. Then just add up how many cubic feet it is. Another method involves filling the box/wall first and then vacuuming them out one cube at a time until it's empty. Either method should work. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
OldsBoomer
still hard to tell exactly the volume with peanuts because there is alot of empty space with peanuts its a good chance it wont be accurate... you need somethin with more weight Suburban Coming Soon
tristan560
Is there any way to do sweeps with the tl or a method like that? Only place around here that has packing peanuts is the ups store and its like 15 bucks a cube... Im not spending 200 bucks on peanuts. haha 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
n8ball2013
run asine sweep. Where your woofers move the least is where you are closely tuned. it wont be `110 percent accurate but its a good guestimation method. Eric B
Get a Term-Lab.. Run a sweep at a moderate volume.. about a a 1/3 of the way up.. then look in the general area of where it was peaking.. then start about 3-5hz below that number and work up, and make sure to do full tilt burp on these ones.. this will find where you peak at. Make sure to reset it each time and write down the numbers or have someone else keep track.. and there is a timer on term-lab where it will reset.. very nice feature and rarely ever will your box peak at what its actually tuned to.. 2007 Chevy HHR LT UNDER CONSTRUCTION 1st Place Loud N Low 2010 MWSPL Finals 3rd Place Xtreme 3 2010 MWSPL Finals
