i personaly would go for a 12" Image Dynamics IDMax.

Last i checked those ran around $450 or so. I'd like to run one, but I'd rather keep it a little less expensive.

A couple links to some box builds:

Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI,

Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150

My own car builds (current setup --- under construction):

Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors

Subwoofer Wall

10" 12" or 13.5" JL w3v3.....they come in single 2, 4, and 8 ohm voice coil. excellent sounding sub if you are looking for SQ. $260 is what i got mine for including tax and everything from the local shop. and of course.. buy from a dealer b/c you wont get the warranty unless you do.

18's in a wall to come....Its not all about the posts....check the member #...

Also, Eclipse TIs are awesome sounding. As stated W7s sound great. I loved mine when I had em. Some other subs that get pretty loud while having great sq are Treo SSi, ID IDMAX, JBL GTi, Stereo Integrity Mag,

Ive also heard SoundSplinter RL-i's and TC-3000s sound great.

Some of those may be a little more than $300, but its well worth it. If you shop around and look through classifieds it shouldnt be a problem to find them at or around $300.

Hope that helps!

Yea I want a real well rounded system this go-round, so I'm equally spreading my money around, so $500 for a sub isn't going to work. But I definately have my eye on Fi (either a Q, maybe a BTL), and a JL W7 if I can get a deal on it. And the other subs mentioned above wouldnt be able to handle an RF t10001. We'll see what happens! Thanks for your input guys!
