meade916
I ve never had any issue with kumho's you rolled on 24's or 26's? Im not talking about anything other then what i have ran, i am aware they make all sorts of tires - the 305/35/24 and the 305/30/26 have both failed and more then once. My 24's didnt last long at all. The treads were still good but the sidewalls fail - and not due to weight, the fronts failed as fast as the rears in both cases. You gonna get winter wheels? you are looking at my "all season" wheels LOL - Congrats on the new tires. Gotta be safe... Any plans to lower the front a little more? The rear looks great, but the tires also made it look like there's more wheel gap in the front. Just curious, not hatin here. i will probably level it out a little with the torsion bars up front. The extra weight in back from the new system made it squat a little more then before - about another 1"- 1-1/2"..... he live in CA...his winter is 60 degrees i wish, it doesnt snow here but it damn sure gets cold. We will see high 20's, mid 30's during our coldest days. I know, it still aint shit LOL - It snows to the east, about 1/2 hour down the road though (and beyond), i will stick to the valley though. you were in stockton?? daamn i missed me a demo. but i didnt hear any beat today so maybe you didnt play it haha nope, got off the freeway, got my tires put on and hit the road back home...sorry man! That is true. Man those wheels are so sick. Now I want to get some Pirelli tires for my ride. Also get a smaller series. Deff. looks different compared to the older one. i highly recommend it so far. As long as they are durable, the ride and the noise level is beyond comparison. I didnt even know it was possible to ride this smooth on tires so small (and with a decent sized drop on my truck too) I was going to say, watch out for the pot holes, but was beaten to it looks sweet, I would have thought a stiffer/harsher ride again bro, nothing has changed...30s, 35s, 40s - hell i remember when 50 series was a "rubber band" and everyone said "watch the potholes" LOL - i mean i know already, its just part of the game. Play it, or roll stock. looking good mane.. keep stuntin' and time to change that background image to the new pirelli i already did hahah! Hey steve do you have bikes???? i just notice that bike rack upthere. yup yup - got the rack because i aint putting my bike in my back seat anymore with the new leather! Some say i should shave the rack off the top, i say the exact opposite - its the only thing left that makes it still a Tahoe I use that thing all the time whether for bikes or on a long ass drive, my spare tire. sdg0080
NOW for the review: NIGHT AND DAY 100% Different!! BETTER!!! The smaller, thinner, 25series Pirelli outperforms that larger, 30series Kumho by a long shot!! The new ones are so quiet it is like driving a Cadillac now!! My fenders dont rub at all and the bumps and the rough roads i encountered on the way home were almost nothing!!! it was a DELIGHTFUL ride home, believe it or not!!! I white knuckled with the old ones on the way up.......AMAZING!!! PIRELLI FTMFW!!!! your rough roads must be pretty smooth. those rims would be trashed here in iowa...they look great. on a side note, you're a brave man leaving that up on jacks...i know they are 3 ton jacks, but i have seen even a 12 ton give out... meade916
I don't know how hard I would laugh seeing a spare tire strapped to the roof rack on that thing only on LONG drives like 4 hours (8 round trip) or more - like if i go to vegas or L.A. or something and i know ill have a room to drop my wheel off at. If you watch some of my vids, you will see the spare next to my hotel bed LOL. gotta do what you gotta do, no room I dont drive with it on the roof unless im gonna be straight up OUT OF TOWN - Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Oh on a fucking sunday night no less. Talk about a pain in the ass to get a new tire. Thankgod the flat bed guy was awesome or I would have been boned completely. evidentyl the size 17s I had were an odd size and couldnt be matched so I had to buy a non matching one. get it mounted and then buy a new one once I got home to match.. After that I got AAA. Ill take the tow home lol. Not too donked out, just right. I will pass on the Toyo's and anything Less Shwab sells - those guys are pussies. I went there with a couple G's CASH in hand and they got all scared - "we dont sell 26's and we cant work on them without a special machine"....weak sauce. I told him, nevermind bro ill go find a PRO. I had to drive an hour to find someone who had what i wanted, in stock and on a sunday no less, and they didnt even bat an eye at a 26 - and i KNOW these suck balls to install.
