sierra mist
Going to push (2) 2 ohm TC-9's rated at 1000 wrms each. It's between a Power Acoustik A3000DB from Sonic or a Lanzar Opti2000D from ebay.
zaxfire69
In my own opinion, and as you know opinions are Like A@@holes, everybody has one. I think the Lanzar is a more well rounded amp. It is also 1/2 ohm stable, and if you ever upgrade to different speakers this may come in handy...I can tell you this. Back in the old days the Lanzar Optidrive series amps were freakin awesome. They put out more power at higher voltages. I always wanted one. Anyway this one is to hard for me to call...I like the Lanzar! I would go with the Lanzar.. Edited April 26, 2007 by zaxfire69
sean 371
Eh, the lanzar stuff now is far from as good as it used to be. I'd go with the PA Quote A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall

Forevrbumpn
Wasnt Lanzar bought out by Pyramid? and ever since they have pyramid built amps?? I have the A3000DB, it works fine, minus fan noise, think I gotta change out the internal fan, but it definitly put out the power it says, if not some more Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. civichatch
Ide go with PA. Ive seen many people run them in there setups and almost everyone is very happy with the power and Reliability they have. Lanzar is not near as good as they once were. jcm1689
i dont like lanzar at all. my friend had a lanzar amp about a year ago. he ran 1 twelve of it at 2 ohms, gains set halfway. the thing would just randomly shut off all the time, stay off for long periods of time, randomly come back on, then eventually bout 3 months later it shut off and never came back on. I would go with Power Acoustik i have used a couple of thier amps and i liked em. Quote R.I.P. dlheights
Where is Slinky? lol I would go with the PA's. I'm a fan or Power Acoustik and Soundstream, and I'm not a fan of Lanzar. Like always just an opinion and it's up to you.
