1992Chevy K1500
In order for that amp to do 3500 watts off of a 200 amp fuse, you would have to feed it 25+ volts (at 70% efficiency). Don't believe me, do the math. My comp setup (Not bad for what it is): HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with: 15.4" widescreen AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor 2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz) Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD 128MB shared video memory Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit 12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours) What it does: On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

EricR
http://cgi.ebay.com/AUDIOPIPE-3500W-AMP-CA...=item53dcbbccbc no thanks i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work? Twistedchild420
If it was 400$ shipped they would have a deal...i believe their rating...they've been on par as of late...hell even the GD60001 was doing rated and then some and it's been out for quite some time! 1992Chevy K1500
We already figured out the fuse issue, your late to the topic....... LOL, reading>me. Oh well. Or maybe not, according to my math, you would need a 350 amp fuse to get 3.5K watts at 14.4 volts (still at 70% efficiency). Since I have no idea what the efficiency is, I can't give a more accurate answer. newls1
I personally wouldnt spend the 500$ on this amp either, but its internals seem to be better then the "AP" line of their family amps....see what i'm saying here guys? raytard
chevy, effeciency is a measure of how much of the current draw is converted into woofer driving current compared to heat (70% or .7 means that 70% of the current drawn goes towards powering the attatched speaker, while 30% goes towards heat basically) and please keep in mind, 70% is a conserve guess. most companies only give the 4ohm rating, and i know some amps have their effeciency halve when dropped to 1ohm. Yeah, I already know. Well, I didn't know most amps have their efficiency halved when dropped to 1 ohm. Thanks for the info. What I meant was, I don't know the efficiency of the AP amp, so I used 70%. Boon
Until I see pics of the amp proving those are the internals I'll remain skeptical. Terminals are clearly different in the ebay pic and the heatsink is obviously different (although the guy did say prototype) Audiopipe = Soundmagus = Chinese That amp in the pics is a Zenon with 3S driver board = Korean 10.x volts fo' life!
