Maybe he only seen the first pic and just assumed they were the D's from being double stack magnets. They def. look similar but the D series has a flat top and bottom plate. Here's a pic of the D I believe yours is a B/C if that is a single magnet motor it is the 1000 series with some half ass DD logo carved in some time when some 1 owned it... It really looks like the motor on my 1000a series 12's i got You guys are wrong, THESE ARE 3500 SERIES MOTORS!!! They have a 3 inch gap, I just bought 2 3515Ds for $25 from a buddy that owed me money and they are the same exact thing and say 3500 series on the baskets! The 3512 motor pictured is a newer motor, the D series motor is about 5 years old, but non the less a great motor and at a great price!!!
