Just curious about the sound, and power handling. The website claims 100 Wrms for all the coax and comps. Will they really take that much? Thanks! Kicker Guy Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Not sure about the comps, but a friend of mine runs the T6C's in his doors and T69C's in the back and I thought it sounded great for coaxs. they do take the power he has 100+ to each of them and they have been in there for awhile with no issues. X2.H10.V4 Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 (edited) I have never owned a set but after hearing several sets of the components (Honestly I have heard them in about 8+ installs, Bob Perrillo's Van, Jared Horton's Golf, Mike Travassos's Explorer, Tim Roy's Van and etc). The tweeters are extremely harsh and noticable break up between the mid and tweeter. I am in no way saying this to down T3 Audio because I have personal ran there subwoofers and I must say the TSS is great driver. I have owned and installed several of them and would do it again. They are in no way a SQ winner and are perfectly positioned as a $100 price range component set. The mid range is nice and warm with a little thump in the mid-bass. I also noticed that the tweeters without any music playing will hiss. Its usually due to the crossover so if you run active or have an EQ for adjustments it will diminish. We will be adding a higher end set as well with better crossovers.
