If you decide to take it to court ask the judge for driving school, that's your best bet. Depending on if that's reckless or not, judging by 90mph, I would say it is. He should grant you it, if you haven't taking driving school before.

Slow down, live longer.

In most states either doubling the speed limit below 40mph is considered reckless driving and above 40 it's like 25-30mph above the posted limit also is considered reckless driving. But it does vary greatly from state to state, but regardless the OP will be have points on his license and insurance will sky rocket because of this.

To the OP - how old are you and what do u drive??

i wasnt driving like an asshole. it was a 3 lane road. there were maybe 4 cars total out there. i just wasnt lookin at my speedometer. i wasnt switching lanes and cutting people off or anything like that. just wasnt paying attention to my speed

im 19 and i drive a v6 mustang. my rates are going to go up.

Speeding that excessively to me is driving like an asshole(you don't have to be weaving to do so), but I've done it like everyone else in the past. I used to drive 85-100 on my way to work everyday, until I got into a bad accident(not at fault + wasn't speeding). It changed my whole driving style, if I would have been doing my usual highway speed more than likely I would have been dead.

But yea being 19 your insurance is definitely on its way up, if I were in your shoes I'd offer to pay the difference. It will show responsibility for your actions and I hope that you're at least paying for the ticket too.

your opinion is your opinion. but i dont like being called an asshole as i am far from it. i just had a moment where i slipped up.

as for the ticket. yes im paying the ticket and it would be pointless for me to offer to pay the difference because i dont have a job. im focusing on college and they give me my money.

go ahead say im a low life or whatever but i cannot physically support a job. im constantly doing work for school.

im just pissed off because im an idiot is all. the one time i wasnt paying close attention to speed i get caught.
