Depending on if that's reckless or not, judging by 90mph, I would say it is. He should grant you it, if you haven't taking driving school before. Slow down, live longer. But it does vary greatly from state to state, but regardless the OP will be have points on his license and insurance will sky rocket because of this. To the OP - how old are you and what do u drive?? You should pay whatever increase if you insurance occurs because of it, it will go up too. i wasnt driving like an asshole. it was a 3 lane road. there were maybe 4 cars total out there. i just wasnt lookin at my speedometer. i wasnt switching lanes and cutting people off or anything like that. just wasnt paying attention to my speed im 19 and i drive a v6 mustang. my rates are going to go up. Speeding that excessively to me is driving like an asshole(you don't have to be weaving to do so), but I've done it like everyone else in the past. It changed my whole driving style, if I would have been doing my usual highway speed more than likely I would have been dead. But yea being 19 your insurance is definitely on its way up, if I were in your shoes I'd offer to pay the difference.
