Ive seen it ran at 1 ohm bridged, Bigpimpin91 had success with it.. i guess if you got the power to back it up it will be fine, just have to be careful with the volume.. Mine was touchy and wouldnt go past vol 22, *my normal listening volume is 32.. bridged at 1 ohm.. so its all on the amp really

u will fry that thing. It is two 1500's in one case. Best thing you can do is change sub setup or change amps. Try a sundown 3500, if you want to stay under 1 ohm mono.

Those AP's are cheap and will not stand up to abuse like some of the nicer amps can. They are great for the money as long as you stick to 2 ohm or higher.

It's gonna be very touchy, will draw a ton of amperage, and gets hot quickly from my experience with them bridged @ 1ohm. The vehicle it was in had a huge electrical system(formerly handled 8k daily lol) and it still had sum issues. The biggest issue was prolli how quickly the amp heated up, even with 2 fans on it whenever it played. We also saw very minimal gains from dropping it that low. Gotta remember just the final load is .8ohm, each board will be seeing .4ohms each. Regardless of your impedance rise neither of them will be very happy at that ohm.

You can do it and it has been done @ 1ohm before, but by all means I wouldn't suggest it if you don't understand how to handle an amp that will be so fragile @ that ohm load. My teammates was running ok w/ the issues i mentioned before and then he ran into a small amount of clipping(from sum shit song he DLed). Maybe a minute after that happened he saw the magic smoke come out to play lol. We opened up the case and it was all sorts of burned. Literally is being used as a show piece at his shop now because it was beyond repair and not worth having to replace the entire board.

That is just a slight price difference for a Sundown 3500D vs an AP 3000D lol.

To the OP - What are the coils on your woofers??

This is prolli in your best interest, might as well sell the amp before you use it and end up with a paperweight in the long run. Just sell it and save up for an amp that can handle that load without running into any major issues.

What kind of electrical upgrade do u have right now??
