Techt0nix
like the title says can a kicker l5 15" handle 1ohm if the amp is 1ohm stable? the amp is a T1500-1bd Rockford Fosgate 1500 WATT Class D witch is 1500 rms x1 @ 1ohm and i wanna run 2 15" kicker l5s on it witch should run 750rms each witch prefect if the subs can handle 1ohm im only asking b/c i have been told that as long as the amp is 1ohm stable the sub didnt matter but im not sure on that also the subs are gonna be dual 2ohm
lanman31337
The question you should be asking is if the amplifier can handle it. If you're running two dual 4 ohm subs, the answer is yes, the amplifier can handle it. Team_DC-Derrick
well to wire it down to 1 ohm, your gonna need D4, anyways.... and the ohm load on the subs dont matter, *if they can handle 1 ohm or not* its really dependent on the amp and if the subs can handle the power that the amp puts out at 1 ohm. Twistedchild420
The question is your ohm load....that power would be a little much on 2 considering the RF is underrated....you can only wire 2 Dual 2 subs to 2ohm and .5 ohm loads....you should get 2 dual 4's to achieve a 1 ohm load....just watch your gains.
