What are the actual coils on the subs?? What amp are u wiring the woofers to?? Do they have options? If they are dual 1.5 then you would wire them in parallel for a .75 ohm load. But you should not run a 1 ohm amp below 1 ohm. especially for daily music, no matter what anybody on here says they've seen others do. Fact is, you can have issues. My advice is to get a better sub (for less money too) That has dual 2 ohm coils. Better subs for less are not hard to find at all. For the most part they will be around the same price, unless he is getting significantly overcharged for either one. But I do agree with Ed that there are MUCH better woofers out there for a whole ton cheaper than W7s. Plus the coils are alot easier to wire up and find suitable amps. But it must cost alot to manufacture those JL and DD logos because there isnt much special going on that cant be found in other brands as well.
