Decaf Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 or for free..... u can just cut the wire to fit u dont even have to mash it in there... cut it so it fits easily into the terminal but is snug 1/2" of a reduction in 1/0 to 4g isnt going to matter at all voltage wise.... hell a reducer is worse because it only creates two contact points whereas nearly stuffing the terminal with wire then a screw down creates alot more surface area for contact distro blocks cost money heatshrink cost money reducers cost money trimming wire to fit priceless Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mtgrooves Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 I've seen guys use bolts and ring terminals to reduce their wire. Basically they just use a ring terminal on the end of the wire than took a bolt that would fit into the amp and put it through the ring terminal and than used a couple of nuts to hold them together.
