sean 371 Posted May 4, 2007 Report Share Posted May 4, 2007 It's called cabin gain. When it's placed in an enclosure and in a car, the resistance increases slightly. That's why a lot of high end sub manufacturers make there coils .7 and 1.4 ohms instead of 1 and 2.
