Gavinvoy Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 (edited) hello all, not sure if this is the right place, but here goes i wanna change it up a bit. i have 2x Treo SSi 12.44 in a 3.6 cf box @ 28 hertz. I wanna do a crx style box (with subs up and port forward). sub here: http://treoonline.com/infosheets/ssi_subwoofers.pdf going into an '02 Envoy box: 44" wide x 23" long (about) x 16" tall double baffle, with flush mount i dont want to go taller. and i dont know if i wanna go into aero port territory. For 3.8 cubes I would reccomend that you use 3 4" ports to get enough port area for that size box. Also for the guy that asked the question about the box I don't reccomend doing subs up and port foward at all. You should do subs up port back or even subs back port up, but not port foward with subs up ever. Boon Posted November 5, 2009 Report Share Posted November 5, 2009 Forward means towards the front of the car... and a CRX box is subs forward ports back now Subs up port back should work well enough although with only 2 12's you might want to consider subs back port back.
