Eric B Posted May 10, 2007 Author Report Posted May 10, 2007 yea its actually 4.1 cu. ft. and the its tuned to 30Hz Im hoping to get my new amp and BL within the next few months, I just need to finish painting the inside which ill probably do tomorrow night and on friday my 15" P2 is coming so im gunna see how that works out, the only problem with that new box is the plexi moving it rattles and is annoying, im thinking about putting a brace down the middle with carpet on the glass side so it dont make noise, anyone else have any ideas? And if you run a brace, you'll have to screw the plexi into it for it to work properly. a window that large in 3/4" plexi will probably run you around $50. But it's necessary. I know your Type R is only a 12" But i garuntee it will not only be louder, But sound alot cleaner. Thats just my 2 cents though. Forevrbumpn Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 I would assume, the plexi window should be a good 3/4", but once you add that BL, and depending on how much power, maybe up to 1" thick plexi, anything less will eventually leave, crack, or just change the freq you hear Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
