I've been messing around with the low and high but I'm sure it isn't right yet. Anyone know what it is? andym85 Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 odd question....they go as low as what u set ur subsonic filter to and as high as you set your low pass filter to mine got real low, set the subsonic to 28ish, and the lpf to 70ish i likes me some audio stuff...

I thought it you played a song to low that you could damage the subs. But thanks this really works. I'm had the subsonic just about right. Like I said it's my first system, hopefully for my next one I would have learned enough to build my own box and stuff. If you arent sure of the range of your setup you can just take a good listen. There is something called the F3 point of an enclosure. This is the lowest point you want to play before your sub really starts to lose control. Grab a CD with some test tones and just play tones starting around 40hz and go lower and lower each time. At the point it starts to sound like distortion or looks like the subs are over excursion, then set you Sub Sonic on your amp around that point. Some setups have a super low F3 so you may not reach that point at all. "Put On" I think is low. "Late night tip" There are too many to post.
