Ndnkobra
Hey guys, i was little concerned about the condition of the magnets on my 2 Q's. I left them both in my car trunk thinking that they'd be fine, but i was wrong. The magnet on one of the subs is scratched a bit And the other is starting to chip away a little, you can see a bit of ridge in this picture I may just be over-reacting, but i dont want to wire them up and have something bad happen because of the scratch and a chip in the subs. it doesnt hurt to be too careful and to ask, thanks for any help! jizazz12
you should be fine a little scratch here and there is not going to hurt the sub and that slight chipping is not a big deal either you should be good to go as long as there are no real cracks in the motor. 2007 Chevy Impala LS 1 Crescendo 3KWP 1Crescendo C1000/4 2 DC lvl 4 15's with lvl5 dual .7 coils 1Audio Control Matrix 1 Pioneer P880PRS 1 300 amp Iraggi alt All power runs done with Knu flex 0/1 guage 1 optima yellow top under the hood 1 XS 5100 and two Deka's in the trunk 4 Crescendo MP-8 mid bass drivers 2 DB Drive p5 5 D Pro Audio tweeters
Boon
Seriously though, take them out of your trunk. If the motors are getting knocked around it wouldn't take a huge bump to mess up the alignment of the motor and then you may as well throw the subs in the bin. 10.x volts fo' life!
