loganberry
no progress on this yet still havnt found the best way to do it...i want to use suede and havnt found any padded backing suede...my headliner is still in good condition i think i can just attach it ontop of the original with enough glue once its tacky...i dont want to take it all off and have no padding at all so that seems to be my only option My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk
99vic
i recently had the one in my f150 redone by some friends, so take the old material off, then we used a sander to get the rest of the crap off of the board(the padding) and then i bought a pre padded material from a local fabrics store, only do one half at a time and i used 3m headliner adhesive, fold over one half, spray the board and the back of the material, then fold it overr and let the glue tack for the time recommended on the can, then do the other half the same way and when the glue is tacked up nice, we took a squeegee type deal, one that looked like it could be used to spread bondo, then just applied pressure over the whole surface re installed it exactly how my uncle has been doing it for 30+ years. well accept for the foam.. he scrapes it off with a wire brush and uses real glue in a spray gun. same way i told you months ago but who am i? i havent done 40 or so myself lol REST IN PARADISE BIG RICH (Sqmonte) never forgotten Why do you guys ALWAYS dispute on NUMBERS????? It's such a played out argument, so fucking annoying.... It's 12 fuckin 15's.... It's louder than you... Shut the fuck up... /Rant I'm so jealous, it makes me want to club baby seals. That shit gets down HARD!dont buy from knowledge he will scam you. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/30995-official-knowledge-feedback/

00_XJ
I wrapped the headliner in my ranger 5 months ago in black suede. I left the old material on and used 3M spray glue. The hardest part was getting it stretch right without wrinkles but you just gotta work it. Took me about 30 minutes to do and that was my first time wrapping something but I drive a regualr cab so it's smaller. It's held up so far, no wrinkles, not sagging or anything so I think its safe to leave the old material on, just probably not the proffesional way to do it. 2000 Jeep Cherokee -DC Audio -Memphis -Audioque -SecondSkin -Pioneer -KnuKonceptz

thehoe92
if it starts to sag then fuck it take the old headliner material off with the suede and you have a clean slate to start fresh suede isn't that expensive I'm leaving mine on and I am going to be doing 1 foot sections to make sure everything is flawless since I have such a huge headliner. logan yours shouldn't be to hard the hardest part will be getting it out of the truck without fucking something up Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple
