etaks_crew Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 sony extra bass if they are the smae ones i got... pain in the ass to get in the ear and keep in perfect placement...i got skullcandy ink'd and love them... great bass and sound and ive been seeing them for 18$.... buying 3 pairs next week for back ups... I just got my first pair of skull candy ear buds. They were normally $20 on sale for $10 and I had a two dollar coupon and my discount. Ended up paying like 7.xx after tax. I like them so far, really nice especially for 7 bucks, bass is pretty good on them too.

Decaf Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 So I got my headphones in today and tried them out. First thing is they feel uncomfortable to me. I think it may be because I'm used to the iPod type earbuds instead of these with different "plugs". At first I didn't notice the bass, but then I changed the plug that felt most comfotable and plugged that sucker deep in my ear and the bass hit good.I'm just wondering if I'm doing it right? Is it supposed to feel like you're covering your ears and you can hear yourself breathe? yes, thats exactly what they are suppose to do u need to use to largest pad that will fit to form the best air seal u will also notice when the cord hits things its transfered, but i love those little $10 earphones

Yea the bass hits really good if they're in there nice & sealed. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't damaging my ears because I'm not used to these earbuds, Thanks Decaf! Decaf Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 u can easily damage ur ears with these, my ears would hurt after 30minutes the highest i could ever turn it up on my computer was 75% (16ohm) the ones im using temporarily i can do 100% and its still not as loud as i want (32ohm)

The inkd buds had the most bass...the step up from that was meh... and the v-modas sucked. The bass isnt as good as advertised in my opinion. Not worth twice the money of inkd buds. also may i add that the inkd buds made the best seal of all of the buds, which may be a determining factor. But everybody's ears are different! But everybody's ears are different! i think u didnt have a good enuf seal because they are by spl the loudest pretty much most headphones are ~100db... v-moda bass-freqs are 122db @20hz... so anything sub bass is loud period are you talking about v-moda bassfreqs? those are the ones we are, which are 9.99 on ebay i thought my ink'd buds were harsh on the highs

I lost them at the gym i believe so too late now the bass sounded different than the inkd buds...yea the inkd sucks on highs.
