8000watts
last night im driving listening to music and as soon as i park, it cuts off...i didnt do it... i waited til this mornin to check everything and realized that the battery is at 14.5, the power wire at the fuse is 14.5, the other side of the fuse is 14.5, i put a hole in the wire under the hood with a pin and THAT was even 14.5. so y is the power on my amp 8.9? neither one of my amps r coming on... help please! this is frustrating me and i have to take this long ass ride to work with no music! thanks

skittlesRgood
do you mean its 8.9 on the terminals of the amp? LOL.. J/K You do need one tho. 5.Your lead is not in the wire very good. 6.Your meter ground lead is not on bare metal. 7.Do you drink? LOL.. maybe your past your limit and misread the meter. LOL 8.Cheap brass connectors get burnt and loose connection. 9.Blown fuse front to back and you have been playing your sytstem off your back batts. Now they are down to 9 volts. High possibility. Hope this helps. Dom

Nightshade
Check your grounds and connections into your amp. I will almost bet that you either have a ground that has come or is coming loose or your ground is coming out of the amp's terminal. I doubt anything is wrong with your power wire at all. This sounds like a ground issue.
