Besides my car isn't "loud enough" so it'd be $$$ wasted to enter. Just would like to see what the folks that "Pull ###'s" have if their not all "black box" or "AREA 51" about it. I guess if it's a major event I can understand some secrets about ur "innovative ideas" but I was under the impression this was a 1x point event and only the Bass Racers were after Trophies. Maybe i'm trippin. When I did compete, (Mind you I wasn't anywhere near the running for "National Champion" but then again are those guys really coming to THESE events?) I would show/demo my setup to anyone who wanted to see it before or after the Competition. The secrecy thing seems a lil extreme to me unless you're going to some super-cup, invitational dealio. ~2cents. XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 dont say that your car aint loud enough... i had 1 sub running half power... i have a sub that has a blown voice coil.. so.. i could only run full power to one sub using both voice coils , and then i had to run one off one voice coil.. this event sucked for me.. i took 2nd place in street c with a 138.3 DB was the highest i hit... Then i fucked up on my BASS RACE and turned it down too early the first time in 129.9 class.. so i got bumped.. then doug let me qualify.. and i ended up having to compete in 139.9 class so i didn;t waste the money.. but my system doesnt hit 139.9 off a 300 rms amp and 2 15" subs off one amp... so.. i ended up hitting 134.* DB for 6th place... hope to do better next time... i should have a better system this week...
