imupabove Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 hello. i have a 1993 toyota camry. their is a hole (as if someone slice it straight down) on my intake hose. my car still runs good but im just wondering if its okay if theirs a hole. i tried covering it with electric tape but it just melts off in the future. so should i replace it or what? thank you for your time. Mosin Posted December 6, 2009 Report Share Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) Look at the one on your car and look at that one. The should look exactly the same. Does your Camry have the 2.2? Edit: That 'hole' in the middle, is it maybe on the bottom side of the intake? Take the damaged one off and hold it up next to your comp and compare the 2. Just loosen the old hose clamps and put the new hose in. This is one of the easiest replacements you can make.
