hello. i have a 1993 toyota camry. their is a hole (as if someone slice it straight down) on my intake hose. my car still runs good but im just wondering if its okay if theirs a hole. i tried covering it with electric tape but it just melts off in the future. so should i replace it or what? thank you for your time.

If its between the TB and filter I'd suggest changing it before debris gets into your intake manifold.

what is the TB? thanks.

Just buy a new hose, wtf man, its not that big a deal.

yeah that is the thing. im not really that good under the hood :[. im looking at this hose on ebay tell me if it the right one because the one im looking at has a hole in the middle and the one i have now looks like an ordinary hose. check it out please.

Look at the one on your car and look at that one. The should look exactly the same.

Does your Camry have the 2.2?

Edit: That 'hole' in the middle, is it maybe on the bottom side of the intake?

Take the damaged one off and hold it up next to your comp and compare the 2.

Just go to your nearest auto parts store and get a direct replacment. Not that hard. Tell them the part you need and they will find it.

you think it will be hard to install the new hose? did you see the hose i was looking at on ebay?
