hows your voltage? it might be your voltage or it might also be your box. you should do more than those numbers! or maybe your peak is lower but you burped a higher note?
My voltage drops to the mid 11s with only 2 red tops. I ordered 2 D3400s and 4 D2700s in the XS group buy, so those should be on the way now. I've been waiting to get those to put my 3500Ds in. Right now I'm running a DD Z1 at .5Ω. The highest I could get was 148.78 when I burped 34Hz. If I went to a higher or lower frequency my dbs went down. I actually did that 149 on music with voltage drop like crazy. :unknw:

Blue 1500, I'm not trying to do anything but tell you that if you need some help with a box design let me know. I have a single Nightshade 15 off of 2 saz2000d's that does over a 153 on the dash sealed at 52hz. The same setup will also do close to a 156 in the kick with the door open. I've had the Nightshades for over a year and have had several different boxes for them. I'm pretty sure I could design something for you that will break 150's with no issues off as little as 3K watts.

Honestly here's the issue that I think it is for you. You have a truck that has a wall in it. You are tuned low as hell and have to burp super low to please your subs/box. Being that you have a truck does your setup get louder when you either have a door or windows rolled down? If so I know exactly what the problem is. I'll wait for you to answer first before I go any further.

I'll send you a PM in a little while so we don't hijack Jake's thread anymore than we have. I really haven't done a lot of testing with this system (box has only been playing a week, but yeah, it does get louder with the driver's door open. I think it's tuned is the 36Hz range iirc. I'm jealous. I have 4 Nightshade 15s and I can't even hit a 150.

Drop me a PM if u want sum help getting your score up.. There's no reason w/ a DD Z1 and 4 15" Nightshades walled off you shouldn't be putting up sum pretty big numbers with it.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Something must be wrong.
I know, but what? I've seen 1 15" Nightshade do almost a 153 with only 1000 more watts than I have and I have 4 times the cone area. I dunno if it's the box design or the truck or what.
