Doesn't matter if you guys do or don't believe in global warming, but a proven fact is that fresh water glaciers are melting in our salty oceans. Look it up, fresh water rapidly mixed with salt water can actually change which way currents in the ocean travel, stop them completely, or just Eff shit up. Not to mention all the animals that live on the ice. No ice = no habitat = lotta extinct animals = raised sea level.

over many many many years, possibly. but not only would we have to continue planting, we'd have to stop cutting down trees. plus idk if the damage done to the Ozone could be reversed.

back in the 19......20's? friges used to use gases to help keep them cold. every time you opened them, the gases were released and it made a hole in the Ozone layer. the hole is FINALLY closing back up, but VERY slowly. we no longer use these gases.

so even if we did plant trees, the time it would take for the ozone to go back to normal, would take MANY years, if it even IS possible to make the ozone layer thinner.

im not gonna say much besides a few vital things to know

algae and plankton.

1)the ocean is the largest converter of C02... an increase in temperature alters everything in the ocean, including this ability... which goes down as the temp rises

2)plants account for ~20% of converting and the ocean does most of the rest

3)melting glaciers can/might change deep sea ocean currents if enough melting occurs... this will change weather, winds, climates...fish populations and locations... so many things

think of all the soil we have covered that cannot grow plants and cannot filter water

think of all the waterways we have created/destroyed

think of all the oil we have burned (umm Kuwait anyone!?!)

think about your impact and how it affects the larger picture that then affects everyone after your existence

I don't think you understand what I was trying to say. I never accused you of saying they are connected, I just was shocked you compared practically a fairytale to something that has scientific backing.
