jizazz12
hey everyone, planning a new build and am looking at some different amps. i know some of the folks on here have or have had some experience with stetsom and was just wondering how there performance is really. looking to power four D.C.LVL 4 15's was looking at the Stesom V6K2D 1 ohm or 2 OHM . also was thinking about a couple of sundown 3500's or a 4500,looked at the RF 2500 1 but it's kind of pricey for my budget. Cr@sh
Alot of people on here are running these: http://www.audioque.com/aq/?page_id=30 And they are selling for 549.00 Christmas special. They do more then rated as well. I plan on buying one for a truck I just bought to run 2-15" BTL's. Quote My old install at cardomain, never finished! Kian
cav is right, but there really is no need to be above 15 volts. i clamped my 4k2d @ 2 ohms at 3,800 watts with 2 optimas. i love there amps, they dont get hot, extremely small in size. Except when your alt idles at 15.2 on cold start ups. So you cant run your system til your engine heats up a bit. Hahahaha i know how you feel. mine did the same thing. but once it is up and going, there beautiful. what i had to do was, roll up my windows even if tho they were rolled up already and it would get mine working instantly.
