Diming Lights

I thought capacitors are supose to help small systems <_< ?????

i have a 6farad cap and its not helpin me one bit...my battery is new and that sucker is already hitting 10volts :angry:

I dont like caps to begin with but the pyle brand is not that solid to begin with.

Even good capacitors are better used as paperweights. For your dimming lights I would suggest you upgrade your Big 3. The Big 3 is upgrading the thee main power wires under your hood to help the flow of electricitiy which in turn aids in the prevention of voltage drops...

The Three wires are:

-Battery Negative to Chassis(Ground)

-Battery Positive to Alternator

-Engine Block To Chassis(Ground)

These three can be upgraded fairly easy and will give a big helping hand to your charging system. I would use nothing smaller than 4awg wire...1/0 would be preferable...

Do this and your voltage drops should subside...
