Hey all! I was working today on a little known model of car called a Renault Alliance. My bro just turned 18 & is getting his permit soon, so we brought his 1984 sedan with 20K miles on it over to our house from our storage garage to put in a simple setup for him.

2 12" Jensen Subs SVC 4 ohm wired to a single 2ohm load

1 Profile audio AP1000M 310watts rms @ 2ohms x1

1 6 farad PA digital capacitor

1 Insignia HU (pretty dang good lil HU I have to admit :) )

Big 3 in 4 gauge

Power wire in 8gauge

Stock 60amp alt

Enough. Here's the pics & video guys. Enjoy! B)

nice starter setup but you need to clean up the wires a lil but besides that its all good

Yeah. I'm wondering how the hell I should do that since it's a collector car & don't wanna put holes in the carpet

find some cheap carpet like what you put on sub boxes and lay it over the factory carpet that way you can hide the wires and not ruin the factory carpet

If the carpet is not glued down how bout take the carpet out and run the wire under it and out threw a gap left from the carpet.

P.S. Nice setup and craftmanship.

Yeah, I'll probably do that eventually once he actually starts driving the car.

Just screw the amp and cap to the box otherwise, then you wont have to see any wires. You dont really want them to be moving around the trunk all over.

BTW, whats the little wooden box for with the switch????????

I'll screw them things down somewhere. The wooden box with switch is for his sub box that lights up blue with LED's.

Yep. Only 20K It has been a collector all it's life. Was my grandfathers car Til he passed away in 2004. Just sat in his garage for as long as I can remember so my bro gets it when he graduates.
