Decaf
speakers disconnected and set. and dont forget to put all the setting (bass, subwoofer lvl...etc) at zero as well. thats not true on alpines u need to put it at 15of15 usually to get 2v my jvc needs to be 12of12 to get 5v my friends pioneer gets 4v at 0 on a scale of -6 to +6 its the loudness/bass boost/bbe/ccc/eq features that need to be at
Torres
ah really? i was always under the impression to have everything flat. i gotta see if my el cheapo jvc one has subwoofer on it. doesnt even have bass or treble. just fade and balance lol. but that's what i was getting at at least...the EQ settings. but i'll keep the subwoofer in mind. learn something new everyday haha

System tear out has begun...Out with the old i have a iq of 128 i graduated at the top of my class tell me how im reatrded you are the 1 thats dumb as hell you can't even spell Look at the underlined text hahahahahahahaha I think of it as the virgin losing the virginity technique not just jumping in to it, and pounding away, but going at it slowly over time, to get to that full extreme

There is no such thing as a jack when it come to questions that could help out more people than the one that asked. JUST SAYING... but back to the main question sub connected or not. Kris
F-that I'm going to poll this bioch lol nice choice of words sorry couldn't help it. 77-AUDIO
If you have a problem with a crap ass pironeer radio post it somewhere else. Sorry to piss ppl off i had nonthing but problems with them. OK. Back to the main question. SUBS CONNECTED or SUBS DISCONNECTED. RIDDLE ME THIS!!!!! Because if they are disconnected how does the amp know what ohm load it will be at when they are connected. I know oms law and that you have to have "A" and "B" to get "C". So lets say Ohms is = to "A" and Watts is = to "B" and "C" = to voltage. How do you get "C" if "A" is not present in the actual equation. Decaf
u make no sense again.... 1200w@ .8ohms the square root of the rms u want to set it at... (1200sqrt) = 34.6v multiplied by the resistance the amp is seeing when using a dmm.... 34.6v * .8ohms equals voltage to set amp.... 27.7v
77-AUDIO
How do you know the resistance when SHIT AINT CONNECTED. PPI dbl dinDC Level 31.77cubes net tuned to 33htz.DC audio 2.0kCT Pro Audio 8" in front, 6.5 in rear
Decaf
ok i will try this again. did it several months back and it didnt work. thats why I was asking how do you know the resistance when SHIT AINT CONNECTED. How does that make no sense. simple math A+B=C if u want to set ur amp for 1500w with a sub that reads 1ohm then the voltage would be 38.7v using a -3db test tone @50hz it makes no sense because u dont know phyics... a+b=c means nothing... i dont even know what u mean, lol
