Pretty sure I'm beating a dead horse here

i suggest you start with the electrical. like ugrading your power and ground wires this will set your foundation for any future upgrades. look into knukoceptz, shok and soundquest for wire good stuff at decent prices. dont bother with the kits make your own all you need is some ring terminals and the most inexpensive anl fuse holder you can find but be sure you get enough wire for the "big 3"

x2 this, but for the power he's gonna be running, a big 3 would do just fine.

look for a DD dealer near you or order an SDC from audioque imo

x2 this also, DD and AQ are probably the best guys for straight out SPL out there

So the first upgrade I should do is the "Big 3" before i even bother buy new equipment? I'm not really planning on keeping the car I have currently. I just want to upgrade what I have subs and radio and then when my car finally dies, put the shit into a new car. Unless it's worth doing the "Big 3" anyways??

So based off the $800 budget and the fact that you want to build around the Kenwood KAC-9103D amp. This what I've come up with.

Wiring Kit

Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Dual Amp Power Kit - $109.99

HU:

Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X993 - $239.99

Speakers front doors:

Kicker KS650 $74.99

Speakers rear doors: (This is optional for now)

Kicker DS680 -$44.99

Your total right now if you include the rear speakers is $469.96. That leave ya with $330 left to play with as far as subs are concern. You have a few options with this but you'll be limited with your current amp setup and car electrical.

Subwoofer(s):

If you wanted to do a single 15 sub here are some decent novice/beginer setup

Orion XTRPRO154 -$169.99

Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D415 - $169.99

Kicker 09S15C2 (S15C2) -$199.99

Dayton RSS390HF-4 15" Reference HF Subwoofer 4 Ohm $158.99

Dayton RSS390HO-4 15" Reference HO Subwoofer 4 Ohm - $158.99

Dayton TIT400C-4 15" Titanic Mk III Subwoofer 4 Ohm - $219.99

You really didn't say what size/amount of subs you was looking to upgrade too. If you go with any of the options above that will leave ya with some extra cash left over for misc items such as box building material and or shipping for those items that were not optioned with free shipping.

2007 Chevy Suburban LT1

Pioneer AVH 5700 DVD

Diamond Audio D3 6 1/2 components

Kicker 06ZX650.4 amp

Kicker 06ZX2500.1 (x 2)

DC Sound Lab Level 4 18's with Level 5 coils

Autotek Mean Machine 400.1D (replaced)

Soon to come:

rims

body kit

flow master pipes

Confuscious say "he who say it can't be done shouldn't be bothering man busy doing it"

Now feel free to go crawl back under that rock and leave this to the professionals....

Thanks for doing some research. lol. That H/U You picked out was actually the one I was really interested in getting btw. But I was looking to get 2 12" subs which I should have specified.

How about these then if you're dead set on doing a pair of 12's.

Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D212 - $149.99 each ($299.98 for a pair plus free shipping) they would be underpowered though.

Rockford Fosgate Punch P2D412 - $99.99 each ($200 for the pair)

Or you could reach out to Mr. Flowers on here about those DC's. Level 2 or 3 12's would be good.

you cant wire 2 dual 4 ohm speakers to 2 ohms. only dual 2's.

x2 on the DC's. way better than most of the stuff they sell on Sonic.
