roscoe1129 Posted May 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 Thanx guys.... some bad news......:( I killed that sub....I was testing some more nothing hard and I started tosmell voice coil, nothing drastic, thought it was the sub warming up a little breaking in so the next thing I know it starts to make a bad noise and poof no more sub burnt up. Now I dont know but i thought these subs were built to take alot of power and 1 t3000 per sounded reasonable to me. GREG aka USAMPSFREAK can yo give me some insite?????? Im sorry to hear that, ive heard that around 4000 watts is what you will need to get them goin but ive never seen anybody do it. Im sure you gains were set correctly and all that, im not going to question you on that since your not a noob or anything, those xxx's have a warranty right?? I would send it back if it was me.
