kx519
Will someone figure the approximate surface area of a 10", 12", 15", and 18" sub? I'm trying to decide to buy a ton of 12's or less of something bigger, but i want the most cone area i can get. Thank you in advance. slim2fattycake
are you serious? did you pass the 4th grade? and technically every sub's usable cone area is different. Equation for a 10" subr^2 (5 x 5) x Pi (3.14) = 78.5in^2 i know that, Pi(r^2) but i wanted to add in the extra area from the dip in the cone and stuff, seeing how a speaker isnt really flat. im sure it makes quite a difference and thats what i needed help with.
