i know this prolly isnt the place to ask, but how come the box is like that, is it better than just a plain old ported box?

yes it is. it's a bandpass/transmission line combination. Much louder and should sound much cleaner as well.

dam i have not really had time to start and i need to start soon lol he has to be finished by next thursday lol

where in the middle of packing and stuff so its hard to get this one done and pack and move by the 1st lol
