Just want to make sure this looks good to you guys before i make a mistake

4 15" SDC2.5's

170 Sq inches of port

port dimensions 5x36.5(drivers side)

30hz

14.5 cube before bracing and woofer displ.

will be double baffled, doll rod braced internally.

I tried callng DJ but hes closed for the weekend, so is this going to be tuned to low or will it change once its in my truck?

Good to go. 7:1 port ratio, 15in^2 of port per 1ft^3 (assuming you will be somewhere close to 12 cubes after displacement)

is the sketchup drawn to scale? It doesn't look like a 5" port width. jw

yes it is to scale, and it would just about be a 7:1 ratio....

Will 30 Hz be to low of tuning for these woofers?

I hear 36 is perfect for them (what DJ always told me) and youl lstill get the lows you want. Box looks good. Now get ot buildign already! lol

yeah but even if i open the port up to 5.5" i will be at 32 HZ, i dont know how close i will be to the woofers with the port.

Shortening the port some should raise it, can try 32 I dont see why it would hurt the subs. Im not a sub builder so I couldnt tell ya lol

yeah i could shorten up the port a tad, i never thought about that... i could probably go a quarter inch wider on the port, then like 2 inches shorter.

Look good from the photo but 14.5 would be better after port, bracing, and woofer displace. When you add those in the that box will no longer be 14.5 and those 4 15" choking..
