I sold my HDC3 18's, and bought 4 15" SDC2.5s to get around 30% more cone area and try something different. My goal is to move more air than my 18's, and i guess just to have more cone area. Basically i tore out the old front baffle, belt sanded the perimeter so the new baffle will be flush, and laid out plans for the new set up. I want to thank my buddy jeruh for helping out during this whole build as well. Anyway onto the pics as the truck sits now Snow, FTL Sketch, port size id a little off somehow, but to get the idea 250 amp alt took a freakin sledgehammer and a sawzaw to get this crap apart. removing the last of the port/baffle Going to buy wood now, the subs should be in on Friday/Monday. I jsut have one question for you port gurus, My box is 13.4 cubes after all displacement, however DJ said my port being 16"Long 5.5"wide and 32.5 tall is to long/low. He said i cant do 30hz and wants me to shoot for at least 35. How many inches do i have to take off for it to be that tuning?
