i have a 2005 ford explorer limited edition with just 2 12 l5's running off a kicker kx1200.1 at 2 ohm. i have no idea what it's numbers are but its pretty decent. i'm actually looking to upgrade to either 1 18 re xxx or maybe 2 re 15 mx. idk what i want i just know that i want to push high 140's to low 150's as a daily driver. i just need some ideas of what i should do. any help would be appreciated.

When I had my 97 Mounty I had 2 setups that I loved. The first was 4 diamond D3 12's In 2 pre-fab slot ported boxes subs up, ports up. 1000 watt alpine amp 4 g wire big 3 2 Farad cap 144.7. I then put in 2 15" MTX 9500's in two prefab boxes ran 0 g wire 1800 kinetic batt 1501 MTX amp hit 148.1 Both on Term Lab through Midwest SPL. I used no dynamat or hush mats, no bracing or foam, just straight stock on all. Did not take pics or vids then! Now its gone and I miss it!!!

BTW with the same 1000 watt amp 2 of the Diamond D3 Killed 2 15" L7's I had.
